
Kathleen Hale is an autistic writer and the author of four books, including Slenderman, an Edgar Award nominee and winner of the Society of Midland Authors’ Richard Frisbie Award for Adult Nonfiction. Her work has appeared in Vanity Fair, The Guardian, ELLE, VICE, Hazlitt, CrimeReads, and other publications.
She is also a doctoral student studying cognitive diversity and twice-exceptional education, with a particular interest in autism.
